Calvary Apostolic Church is a church established on Biblical truth and committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ. A disciple is a person who is passionately following, serving, and growing in Christ. We do this through prayer, the Word, personal involvement, and fellowship. The heartbeat of our church is to see lives changed by the power of God's Spirit. We believe that every person has a God-given purpose inside of them. Our goal is to promote an atmosphere of love and power that changes lives and expands the Kingdom of God.
Since the year 2008 Pastor Thomas Channell has served as lead Pastor of Calvary Apostolic Church. He began his full-time ministry in 1983 with his wife Carolyn. They raised two sons, Justin and Jonathan, who are both currently involved in full-time ministry. Thomas and Carolyn have 5 grandkids - Savanna, Sidney (who passed away in 2006), JJ, Jaxon, and Judah. Thomas has worked in a variety of ministry roles including Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, worship leader, and much more. He also is currently serving the Maine District of the United Pentecostal Church as District secretary.

They served in that capacity for two and a half years before transferring to Calvary Apostolic Church (CAC) in 2008. In 2009, they became Youth Pastor's at CAC where they proudly served for 3 years. In March of 2011, Jonny became a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and in 2012, he was elected to serve as Assistant Pastor and Music Director at CAC. In 2015, he was elected to serve as Senior Assistant Pastor, and currently still holds this position.
